From the President

The Washington Wellesley Club has a simple mission: to connect alumnae to one another and to the College. Everything that the Club does seeks to fulfill that mission. The WWC was founded by Jessie C. McDonald in 1888 as the first Wellesley College alumnae club. We are led by our volunteer board of directors, who cannot be thanked enough for the work that they do serving our community. I encourage you to attend our programs, where you will be welcomed with a smile as a friend. Please also become a member and support the Club so that it can continue to offer a diverse array of programs and fund our WWC scholarship fund, which supports the tuition of College students from our area. If you have trouble with our web site (which the College controls and not us!), please do not get discouraged. Rather reach out to me directly and the board and I will get you set up with a membership, donation or a ticket to a program. You can call me at (202) 262-9129 and I will be happy to hear from you.
