Join the Washington Wellesley Club for our Annual Meeting including Board elections, a keynote talk from Schroeder Stribling '88, CEO of the N Street Village and the presentation of the Jessie C. McDonald Award to Karen E. Williamson, class of 1969.
 

 

 

 

 

 


When: Wednesday, June 19th, Doors open at 5 and program is from 6 till 7:30

Light refreshments & drinks at 5pm followed by the Annual Meeting and Keynote Speaker at 6pm.

The Slate of Board Nominations will be announced via email and on our website by May 19, 2019.

 

Schroeder Stribling '88 is the CEO of the N Street Village, an organization that empowers homeless and low-income women in Washington, D.C. to claim their highest quality of life by offering a broad spectrum of services, housing, and advocacy in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. N Street Village helps women achieve stability and make meaningful gains in their housing, income, employment, mental health, physical health, and addiction recovery. Schroeder is a social worker by background and has been at N Street Village since 2003 when she initially came as the Director of Programs. Her professional career has focused chiefly on anti-poverty programs, women’s mental health and addiction issues, and services and policy to support those with major mental illness.
