image1Join the Washington Wellesley Club for our  Fall Faculty Speaker event with Wellesley Professor Kathryn Lynch !

On Thursday November 1st English professor Kathryn Lynch will deliver our Fall Faculty Lecture, entitled “Does Chaucer Still Matter? Yes, He Really Does!,” at the law offices of Troutman Sanders downtown DC. Professor Lynch describes herself as a specialist in Chaucer, medieval dreaming, cultural geography, gender, film and food and holds the title Katherine Lee Bates and Sophie Chantal Hart Professor of English.  Professor Lynch describes more of her academic interests and work here.

We will begin our reception at 5:30 with drinks and light food. The lecture will follow at approximately 6:00 and be followed by questions and answers. Troutman Sanders LLP is located at 401 9th St., NW, Washington, DC 20004. The office is convenient to the Gallery Place and Archives/Navy Memorial Metro stations. In addition, there are several nearby parking garages including one in the building. Limited metered street parking is available.
