Family-Friendly Fall Colors Hike at Mason Neck State Park in Lorton, VA
Enjoy the spectacular fall colors on this family and kid-friendly hike.
Come enjoy the changing leaves and views of the Potomac on a hike at Mason Neck State Park. All ages are welcome - alumnae, kids, friends and significant others.
A few short trails are paved, but most are not, so strollers aren't recommended. The terrain is generally flat with a few rolling hills. The longest trail (out and back) is 3 miles. It's easy to go as far as you like and then head back.
There's also a great playground and picnic area.

Where: Mason Neck State Park, 7301 High Point Rd, Lorton, VA 22079.
Cost: Parking is $5 for VA plates and $7 for DC or MD plates.
