The WWC needs volunteers for our annual holiday service project at Crossway Community, located in Kensington, MD (Wheaton metro station). Our annual project has a new date to coincide with the MLK holiday. To volunteer for this project, please contact Vikki Wilder ('03) at service@wellesleydc.org.  
 
Crossway Community is a residential program that helps single mothers overcome domestic violence, homelessness, poverty, and related issues by teaching them the skills they need to become independent. For more information, go to http://www.crossway-community.org.Volunteers will need to provide supplies for the craft project and snacks, drinks and paper goods for 20 people. For the craft project, we will make decorative vases and planters with mason jars.

The club is also collecting donations. Please bring items to the tea (see below) or to the service project.
